Prior repair attempts do not automatically disqualify your console. Bent or missing ports, lifted pads, torn traces, contamination, and earlier soldering work can all be submitted for evaluation.
- Tell us exactly what was attempted and by whom.
- Send clear photos of the port and surrounding board when possible.
- Do not clean, scrape, power, or reheat the area before shipping.
- Expect a custom estimate when recovery extends beyond a normal port replacement.
