What is openly licensed?

Contributed guides, photos and repair data with recorded contributor agreement are available under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-SA 4.0). Contributors retain their copyright.

Share, adapt and give credit

You may copy, redistribute and adapt licensed material, including commercially. Credit the contributors, link to the original guide and license, retain supplied attribution and notices, and indicate changes. Shared adaptations must use CC BY-SA 4.0 or a compatible license. Do not add legal or technical restrictions that prevent the freedoms the license allows.

Use each guide’s revision history to identify contributors. Keep image captions, source credits and attribution with reused material. Facts in the public domain remain free to use; the license covers copyright and applicable database rights, not ownership of facts.

When you contribute

Before submitting each revision, you must explicitly agree to license your contributed text, photos and repair data under CC BY-SA 4.0. Only submit material you own or have permission to contribute under these terms. Preserve existing credits when editing a guide. The license grant cannot be revoked for recipients who comply with its terms.

We record your agreement version with the submitted revision, your contributor account and the submission time. Drafts remain private. Moderators check attribution and licensing before publication and cannot approve a revision without the agreement. Moderator approval does not guarantee that a contributor owns every right.

Sources and earlier contributions

Linked videos, manuals, schematics and other external sources retain their original licenses. Linking or giving credit does not grant permission to copy them. Earlier revisions without recorded consent are not automatically relicensed; their authors must submit a new revision with the agreement.

Scope and privacy

This is a content-sharing platform, not a software distribution service. The content license does not license the private Fixlabs backend, branding, account details, private drafts or business records. It does not grant rights to third-party trademarks or waive privacy rights.
